It was taken at the Winter Conference. I will try to get the pictures up soon! Actually, I already have them uploaded, I just need to finish the album I am working on. Please check back soon because they'll be here soon!

Even though today is MLKJ day, I am still doing catch-up school work. Congratulations to the Colts for advancing to the AFC Finals! GO COLTS! Peyton vs. Brady...y'all know deep down that Peyton is better . Riiight.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

    Today is Thanksgiving

Let's all give thanks to God for his blessings on us this year. This morning, we had a Thanksgiving service at church (only 25 or so people attended). Pastor Johnston led the service, and there was some reading of thanksgiving messages written by members of the congregation.
So my younger sister is obsessed with A Series of Unfortunate Events, and as a result I decided to read them. I've only gotten to the second book, but they are fairly amusing and it is something to do over Thanksgiving break.
Hope everyone who reads this has a wonderful Thanksgiving. God Bless!

    How life is

In case you haven't heard, I now use MySpace primarily and don't use blog and Xanga much. But here I am, and hope someone will read this.
So, I've been busy with school and am still somewhat behind in homework. I've been doing basketball on Tuesday (Wednesday I would but I have classes which happen at the same time), and Thursday mornings for the Northwest Warriors. Practices are getting better, and it is good getting to know the team, which I still have a whole lot to do. Today I also had chemistry class, and my teacher, as good as she is, decided that we would have two tests next week!! I have to cram in...oh no. I also was able to hear Rich Ganz speak today at the Butler U campus, which was the last of a three part series done Tuesday, Wednesday, and today (I only went to today's). The topic was Psychology vs. Religion/Christianity pretty much. One thing that stood out to me was that he said that kids who grew up believing that they are nothing and that life is meaningless have such a loss in life and it leads to all sorts of problems including violence and other crime. So Lord willing if he gives me kids sometime in life that I will show them Christian love and that the love will penetrate them and encourage them -- and give them a sense of meaning.
Tomorrow I have a basketball jamboree with the Warriors where we play about three other teams, I am pretty excited. The regular season starts next week, so I hope we are prepared!
